Tip 1:
In the pagination setting of a wordpress page, switch the page scrolling to 'none' as this is typically the more SEO friendly option.
Tip 2:
It's important to update the 'blogs show at most' setting.
This is in Wordpress ‘Settings > Reading’.
(Mike at Digilife says) I’d set it to 36 for now, in which case you’d actually need to change that setting in your previous email from ‘None’ to ‘Numbers’. The goal is to ensure Google is crawling the entire page (I can test this in GSC) but also reduce the number of pages. So by going from 10 to 36 we obviously reduce the number of pages by over a third.
